Please join us for the first Art Battle Toronto in 2017, in The Great Hall’s Main Hall. This is a wonderful evening of creativity and community, a live painting tournament showcasing local artists and connecting Toronto to towns and cities around the world. Come and be part of the fun as a spectator, or apply at artbattle.com to participate as one of the featured artists. The winning painter advances to the City Finals in June, with a chance to paint in the Canadian Championships this summer.

WHAT IS ART BATTLE?
Art Battle is live competitive painting. Painters create the best work they can in 20 minutes. As the artists work, guests move around the easels, closely watching the creative process. The medium is acrylic paint and the tools allowed are brushes, palette knives or any non-mechanical implements. At the end of the round, the audience votes democratically for their favourite painting and bids in silent auction to take the works home.
