The GTA Swing Band and Lindy Hop Revolution are returning to The Great Hall’s Main Hall for another great themed live music and dance Sunday Fun Day in honour of Valentine’s Day. Get ready to dance, dance, dance on West Queen West, Toronto.

7:15 pm: Doors open
7:30 pm: Beginner dance lesson with Lindy Hop Revolution
8:30 pm: GTA Swing Band takes the stage, with their sentimental songbird Mim Adams

Your hosts for the Vintage Valentine’s Dance Spectacular:
The GTA Swing Band is a traditional 17-piece big band jazz group with their featured vocalist Mim Adams. Capturing the sounds of the 1940’s swing era, you’ll hear the hits of Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee and more.

Lindy Hop Revolution is swing dance studio specialized in Lindy Hop, Charleston and Vernacular Jazz based in Toronto since 2012. Luis and Natalia, a couple of dancers from Barcelona, totally fell in love with swing dancing from the very first moment and decided to share their love for Lindy Hop here in Toronto. Local Lindy hoppers appreciate how, through personal feedback and a strong focus on good technique, they help their students become the best dancers they can be…. while still making classes fun!

Vintage dress is not required, but highly encouraged, just because it makes the dance night more fun.
