The LivWise Foundation is proud to present Torontonian singer-songwriter Nate Daviau at the 5th Annual Liv, Love & Lyrics Event. Nate is an engaging performer who has a natural and easy connection with people. A Country artist inspired by alt-country greats like Chris Stapleton and Jason Isbell, Nate has broad interests from pop, folk, gospel and jazz which influence his music. Nate’s distinctive voice, meaningful turn of phrase and lyrical ease partner with hook oriented melodies to make his songs catchy and memorable. Nate’s debut single Carry This Love was released on February 5th and is being played on radio stations across Canada. Nate’s next single and his first solo release “Miss Him Too” came out on April 30th and he released a new album called “This Round’s On Me”, on September 14th.

Soul singer Rachel Fawn has been writing original music since age 11. Born in Boston, MA, she grew up in Toronto, and has now returned to her roots to study at Berklee College of Music. Rachel’s ability to write catchy songs and recreate covers to incorporate jazzy chord progressions has made her a sought-after co-writer and live performer in Toronto and Boston. Her powerhouse voice—rich in tone and range—is hard to forget, especially in an industry that relies so heavily on auto-tune. By infusing songs with her signature soulful style, Rachel creates a listening experience that’s raw, uplifting and different every time.

The LivWise Foundation was started in honour of Olivia Wise, a beautiful, loving, and talented 16 year-old girl from Toronto whom the world lost to brain cancer in 2013. Proceeds from this event will be donated to a special brain cancer research program currently under way at Sick Kids Hospital to help change the lives of other children like Olivia. Because of Olivia’s passion for music and her strength & courage to battle the disease, the LivWise Foundation was created to give sick children like Olivia the chance to live their dreams just like she did.
