Against the Grain Theatre

This November 2018, composer Kevin Lau digs deeper into Handel’s music—infusing new sounds and ideas into the backbone of Handel’s works.  In the wake of the world’s refugee crisis, this workshop continues to explore the current state of those displaced, dehumanized and mistreated, with texts and stories drawn from real-life news articles and world events. #AtGBound is in its second workshop of a three-year “concept to realization” production. This year’s concert performance will feature a quartet of singers, chamber orchestra, and digital sound design by Acote.

Doors open a half hour before showtimeRush line for non-ticket holders begins as early as 1 hour outside the venue. The performance begins at 8pm on November 19, November 20 and November 21.
