WHAT:              Canada’s Walk of Fame is bringing together five of the country’s most talented emerging artists for a not-to-be-missed FREE musical showcase. Chosen from more than 1,600 hopefuls across the country, the RBC Emerging Musician Showcase will feature live performances from 2019 RBC Emerging Musician Program Grand Prize winner and indie-pop songstress BAYLA (Montreal), together with Second Prize winner Shylo Sharity (Vancouver) and Finalists Clay and Friends (Montreal), Dave Sampson (Halifax) and Toronto’s own, The Sun Harmonic.

BAYLA, who was diagnosed with Vocal Cord Dysfunction and told that she would never be able to sing, has not only proven her doctors wrong, but risen to indie-pop stardom with her debut single “Turn It Around” that reached Top 40 on Canadian Radio Charts and peaked at #24 on the Billboard Charts.

This jam-packed night of celebrating Canada’s best up-and-coming musicians will be capped off with a special DJ set from Brendan Canning of Toronto indie-rock heroes Broken Social Scene.
