The core of the Dwayne Gretzky band centres around top Toronto musicians; that A+ list line-up includes members of July Talk, Born Ruffians, the Arkells, Sweet Thing and others playing all “your dad’s” favourite songs. Like the city’s other top cover bands, Dwayne Gretzky are known for their commitment to the material and re-contextualizing the music they perform, ensuring fans get far more than nostalgia or a canned version of a favourite classic, at their always playful but tight shows.
