JAZZ.FM91’s Youth Big Band and Youth Seminar Band present… Swinging with Count Basie and Duke Ellington featuring Brandi Disterheft.

Thursday, March 12th at The Great Hall, one of Canada’s most formidable bassists and gifted composers Brandi Disterheft, will join the promising young jazz musicians of JAZZ.FM91’s Youth Big Band and Youth Seminar Band in a special performance of music from the legendary Count Basie and Duke Ellington.

Swinging with Count Basie and Duke Ellington is part of JAZZ.FM91’s annual fundraising concert series, the Sound of Jazz.

Concert seating is general admission: first come, first seated. Doors open at 6:30pm for a 7:30 pm start.

The JAZZ.FM91 Youth Big Band and Youth Seminar Band are concert, jazz ensembles made up of high school and middle school students from across the GTA.
